Another excellent cartoon from Marketoonist: six types of advertisements
"Full of itself" is one of the main root causes of stupid nonprofit ads. Here's the recipe:
- An abstract idea.
- Lots of pretention.
- A large production budget.
- Non-measurable goals.
- An agency or production house that really wants to in an award.
You end up with pointless eye-candy.
Don't let it happen to your organization.

Since when is Facebook a nonprofit organization? They don't need to market them selves but if they choose to do it anyway this it how it should be done. Everyone already knows about the function, everybody knows how to sign up, they just need to be a little bit inspired.
